CABIN/LODGE RULES
- Check in 3:00 PM. Check out by 11 AM (unless other arrangements are approved with office).
- Quiet hours are between: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM.
- We strive to provide clean and comfortable lodging for our guests. If cabins/lodge/trailers are left dirty beyond normal use, a $150 cleaning fee may be assessed.
- NO SMOKING is allowed inside the cabins/lodge/trailers. Please smoke outside only and put cigarette butts in receptacles provided. Smoking inside will result in a $150 cleaning fee.
- Pets require additional cleaning, a $35 fee per pet fee will be assessed. Failure to notify office will result in double fees ($70 per pet). Maximum of two (2) pets allowed.
- Pets must have current vaccinations, be kept on a leash at all times, cleaned up after, and not be left unattended.
- All children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult on the river bank and boat launch. Life jackets are highly recommended for children.
- If you bring a boat with you please check with the office where to dock your boat or park your boat trailer. Dock or Shoreline fees overnight are: $15/night, $25/weekend, and $45/week, $125/mth.
- Absolutely NO FIREWORKS are allowed on the Campground premises.
- Firewood is for sale. Delivery to your campsite is included! Please do not bring logs or large sticks from the forest and chop them up on the campground. Firewood brought into camp from outside Manistee County is prohibited per Michigan DNR due to bug infestations/disease.
- Towels are provided, if clean towels are needed, please bring soiled ones to office for replacement. Please bring your own beach towels. Please do not use towels to clean the floor, a mop or rags are provided.
- Do not take Fire Alarms off wall and remove batteries; if the battery is low and beeping please let office know.
- Put all garbage in dumpster by bathhouse; extra garbage bags are in the bottom of garbage can, if additional bags are needed please come to office.
- Before departure, please make sure all dishes are washed and put away. Failure to comply will result in a cleaning fee up to $75.
- Please help to keep the stove, microwave, and refrigerator clean.
- If cans and bottles are out of state please be sure to put them in dumpster. If you are not taking your Michigan cans, please put them in a bag or box and leave outside the door.
- Please gather all soiled towels, hand towels, washcloths and place in laundry basket.
- When using heat or air-conditioning, please do not leave doors or windows open.
- Make sure all lights are turned off when your depart or are not in your rental unit.
- Please be mindful of other campers during your stay, including music volume, inappropriate language and bedtimes. We strive to make everyone’s visit at Matson’s Campground an enjoyable one.

CAMPING/RV RULES

- Camp store opens daily at 9:00 am. Closes Sunday -Wednesday 7:00 pm, Thursday 8:00 pm, Friday 9:00 pm.
- Absolutely NO FIREWORKS are allowed on the Campground premises.
- Campsites are charged per unit, if more than one (tent, trailer) occupies a site additional charges apply.
- Please keep your campsite clean. Put all garbage in dumpster by bathhouse. Pick up all cigarette butts and put in garbage or fire pit. Do not put trash in fire pits or leave cans/bottles on the ground.
- DO NOT move fire pits.

- Kayak, Canoe, Fishing Boat and River Tube rentals available through Camp store. If you have your own watercraft, shuttle service is available for a fee. Reservations for equipment or shuttles is highly recommended.
